OFNA sx-0001 gas rc buggy help plz?

okay so i have a OFNA sx-0001 rc buggy and i havent started it in a couple months and now that i got fuel and fixed the suspension wen i start it it just took off full throttle and crashed into a curb need to no y it does that hobbypeople said to turn the radio on first then the car and i did that but with my foot in front of the buggy wen i started it burned out on my garage floor full throttle plz i need help y is it full throttling itself?

Sounds like a bad reception from the transmitter to the receiver.Also take the air filter off and turn the transmitter on then the buggy,with out running it look down the throat of the carburetor open it all the way up,then let off to be sure the sleeve is all the way open,then release the throttle and there should only be about 1/32 of an inch for fuel mixture intake where if it was running it would be at idol then do it again,make sure also that the throttle return spring isn't binding up.Change both the 8, AA battery's in the transmitter and the 4 in the receiver box.Plus be sure the crystal in the receiver is not loose.Take the throttle horn of the throttle servo off,then turn every thing on with your trim set (throttle) at neutral.With mine i set mine at 3 turns out on my high end needle the one on top of the carb,DON'T MESS WITH THE LOW END EVER while it's not running.I have one also,it's my dust collecter i had bad luck for ever with it.So i bought a few Traxxas cars and trucks over the yrs and i have no problems with them.Good luck if you need anymore advice feel free to mail me.Take care johnbennet70@yahoo.com
