Chassis Skid how do I drop the gas tank in '91 jeep Wrangler 2.5L?
Replacing the Fuel pump which is located inside the Gas tank. I have all the Skid Plate bolts off the chassis but cannot get it to drop...help.
Are there two big metal straps holding it in? Filler hose will need to be disconnected, other lines and wires will usually have enough slack for the tanks to come down a bit before you need to disconnect them. You'll probably want a fuel line quick-disconnect tool also.
