Why DOESN'T Mark Ingram deserve to win the Heisman?
The guy has 1500 yards...in the SEC!! The conference with the best defense hands down. Gerhart only has 200 more yards than Ingram...playing in the Pac 10. Against teams like UCLA, and Washington State. Plus Gerhart has over 50 more rushes than Ingram, and can you name anyone on Stanford's Offense other than Gerhart?...Ingram plays with 2 other guys (Grant, and TR) that could start on any other team in the country, with Julio Jones...
Now Colt McCoy is just a joke. Any QB that throws 3 INTs with his teams BCS title berth on the line is a joke. Plus he almost throw the game away (literally) by throwing the ball away with 1 second left...
Tim Tebow...hahaha
Suh..I haven't watched him play a lot, so lets look at the Stats
Rolando Mccalin- 226 tackles, 1 FF, 5 Sacks
Suh- 221 tackles, 4 Sacks
numbers don't lie...You mind as well give McClain the Heisman.

If the Heisman goes to a running back, Toby Gerhart is the player it should go to. He had a better season than Ingram and finished stronger. (In his last 4 games he rushed for almost 800 yards and 13 TDs against Oregon, USC, Cal and Notre Dame) He led the nation in rushing (over 1700 yards) and TDs (26). He also had THREE games in which he rushed for over 200 yards
Unlike Ingram, Gerhart has not been hyped for the Heisman all year, his SEASON earned him his spot in the final 5. NO ONE was talking Gerhart for the Heisman at the beginning of the season.
Gerhart did this while taking a full course load of 21 units at Stanford (the average student carries 15 units).
While Gerhart deserves it, he probably won't get it because of the east coast bias (except if you go to USC) in the Heisman balloting. But, if he doesn't get it, he shouldn't lose to Ingram.
