Crawler Shock How to catch a turtle that fell inthe pool?
My pool has been green for a few months. It' now starting to warm up and I am ready to clean the pool. Well somewhere in the past 2-3 months a turtle has made my pool its new home. I believe its some kind of soft shell. It comes to the top occasionally and suns on the hose of the creepy crawler. I have been trying to catch it w/the pool net but I can hardly make it out the door before it dives and its gone in the green water!! I am afraid to shock the pool with the Turtle in it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it out of the pool?
I think draining the pool is a waste of water and too expensive!
I suggest buying or making a cheap turtle trap and then releasing him back into the wild. Putting food outside the pool wont work as aquatic turtles eat in the water. Also soft shells are mostly carnivorous and veggies probably won't lure him out.
