Electric Esc
How do I know if my Electronic Speed Controller will work with this setup?
I'm building my own electric scooter, so I planned on having four 5Ah Lithium Polymer batteries (6 cell) in parallel and a 3250W Electric outrunner motor. Now since P=IV, this comes out to about 135A. However, when I'm first accelerating, the current drawn will be greater than this, but how much? The ESC I plan on using is rated at 150A, and capable of controlling 200A bursts for up to 10 seconds.

Don't worry about that!The speed controller has a built-in "soft start" device that compensate the starting current of the motor!
