real r/c cars....for people that know about them?


is a HPI 1/18 Micro RS4 Sport RTR w/Nissan Skyline Body (or any other body) god for street racing on pavement?

if i were you i would into as many other brands as possible before going with the hpi. any of the 1/18 scale models will race well on asphault or concrete IF it is smooth enough. also, look for upgrades available for whatever model you buy. For me, anything out of the box is not fast enough to actually race. Most are too heavy as well. This is true for almost ALL brands of RTRs (too heavy and underpowered) i personaly have had many problems with hpi products (especially RTR). HPI's customer service isn't that great when you break something either.
