Linkage Bellcrank
Briggs and stratton quantum XTL 45 spring either #217 or #209?
I have viewed the briggs 'Parts list exploded diagram' no use as it only shows you the parts but not a true exploded diagram as it doesnt show where parts go
i have what i believe to be throttle linkage set up 222 according to the manual but the spring was not connected. i seems wrong hooked over the small bellcrank hoop then to the governer wire hoop it seems too much tension although thats where i believe it goes. also the seller says 'mower engine is difficult to start put some fuel in the cylinder first, but runs fine
engine stop is on the operator presence lever
spark plug new and sparking.
cant see any holes in the primer system/choke on the other hand cant smell petrol when its pushed and i shove me nose in the carb.
Help could do with a photo of a correctly wired/levered up carb diagrams etc' Proper diagrams' Thanks Guys Matt

I have a 2002 PT Cruiser. The bellcrank on the watts linkage is bad. Can it break? If so what happens if it do?
Thats a very common problem. Mopar has an update kit available that replaces the watts system with a much more reliable widget arm and maniform system. The best part is you dont even have to check your radio fluid anmore after this upgrade.
Go to your local dealer and ask about it.
Be sure to use the secret sign or they might not sell it to you. You have to have your shoes on backwards, wear a where's Waldo cap and look at them crosseyed and you get what you need.
