Petrol powered radio controlled vehicles?

I was browsing for christmas present ideas and wondered about getting an rc vehicle as I always used to get an electric one when I was younger for christmas. Now I'm 17 and obviously want something more powerful. Can you get petrol powered cars for about £120 and how much are they to keep going etc. Also I was wondering about an rc plane perhaps petrol or im guessing electric would be safer. Can anyone recommend certain vehicles or brands or give any information on the matter. Cheers!

There are so many factors that go into this that rather than discuss them here, I am going to point you to the dedicated forums where you can read up on all the issues.

Read up before you post. You will get better results if you ask an educated question, and all you need to do to educate yourself is read a few posts.

Good luck!

my little 6 year old bro loves rc cars, all the ones he has had are small and battery run. not only do they break because there chep plastic but cost loads in battries. any one know what i should look for in a petrol buggy witch will last but not a big facy one cause it is for a 6 year old. web sites would be helpful and the amount i should be looking at spending
thanks
my brother is very good at controlling stuff with engines he dose jumps on his quad so he will be able to handle one

Hi

Our web site has quite a few RC cars, planes and helicopters (including the smallest helicopter in the world). May be a bit advanced for a 6 year old, but with Dad's help...?
