What can I use to clean car wax from the black rubber and plastic parts?
Every time I wax my car I end up - accidentally - applying wax to parts I don't want to wax such as weather strips, running boards, roof rack, etc. I've tried a few things to remove the dried wax from these parts but none have worked...any suggestions?

use some of that stuff called( back to black). ill tell you a trick the next time you wax your car. take some armor-all and spray all the molding, and stuff you dont want wax on, then when you wax your car, the wax cant stick to it, then all you do is wipe the wax off and wipe the molding off the same time, wax wont stick to armor-all. thats what we did when i worked at a detail shop.
