How should i go about spraying my second hand race bike (which is at the moment blue with pink squares) black?


It has the original colours of dura-tech and if i spray it it might lose value and character. does anyone have an opinion on this. Its quite embarrasing riding through the high street on a pink bike when im a bloke.

Strip everything off it that you feel comfortable disassembling and tape up the rest. Just use a can of glossy black Krylon or whatever and spray it right over the original paint. Use a technique called a tack coat. That is when you initially just spray a very light coat and let it sit about 5-10 minutes ( depending on humidity), and when it's just slightly tacky then spray a normal coat.You'll be amazed at how good it looks. I did it to one of my bikes and you would never know it wasn't the original paint.

Navy blue mustang with black racing stripes?


i am toying with the idea of putting black racing stripes on my 05 navy blue mustang. does anyone have a link to picture of one? thanks!!

I personally think that white stripes look the best on navy blue mustangs. It gives it a vintage mustang look and makes the car look really sharp. Black looks good, but it can be hard to notice on a dark blue car.
