Revo Blue Traxxas
My Traxxas E-Revo 550 titan motors have stopped working! what should i do?
hello i have a traxxas e-revo with the origanal titan 550 twin motors, i slow charged my batteries for the first time, to give them more power and useage time, then i turned on my controls, turned on the little blue electric thing with the button, and it didn't turn green, it was flashing red/orange. I didn't think much of it and started driving it, for about 2 minutes it was great, really powerful.. then it stopped!! i walked over and the green light was on but the motors were not working, but the steering was. also i took the shell off afterwards and i could smell a slight burning smell, what should i do? do i need to buy new motors? is it a good idea to slow charge?
sorry i couldnt go into technical detail but i am not very experienced with RC cars, it is my first electric decent car.

Sounds like you ESC(Electronic Speed Controller) overheated and stopped running. If you cannot run it again after an hour or so, then consider it fried - its the plastic box unit that connects to the motors and that was probably where the lights were flashing orange and red.
If its within warranty then its back via the seller to the manufacturer but if not, its your local hobby store that specialises in RC
