Why are there still bits of uninstalled programmes remaining on my computer?

I have uninstalled several unwanted programs from my PC, including Pest Patrol and System Mechanic. They have both disappeared from the "All Programs" list.
But I have found that there are still remnants of these programs on the PC. How can I delete these remaining bits completely?
After I discovered that parts of the programs were still there, I started using Revo Uninstaller to delete other unwanted programs - but I don't think this tool will help me kick out the fragments of programs that are not listed.
Anyone to the rescue? I will keep my fingers crossed.

Yes, things on Microsoft Windows do that. Its awful, isn't it? Worse yet, you'll find they have also cluttered up your registry too!

Try CrapCleaner. It will help a bit, but you'll need to manually remove a lot of the old data directories.

nitro cars revo 3.3 RtR?

hi i am going to get the revo 3.3 and i know its an rtr but what does it come with i am just going to be driving it in my back yard not racing so what parts break first and suff what comes in the revo box does the ez starter come with it and glow plugs what r the best glowplugs for the car also i heard the car was water proof is that true

thats a good pick on the revo. the things you will need are a 7.2 volt battery and a charger for it. thats for the easy start wond. some fuel and definatly some extra glow plugs. the factory glow plug will be shot not to long after break in. wich make sure you do exactly what traxxas says to do for break in. BREAK IN TAKES ABOUT 45 MINUTES!! if not. your motor will be shot and will be very hard to start after the first gallon. as far as things that break? all depends on what you hit and how fast your going..lol. they are super durable, but the servos arent the best. becouse there is no end point adjustments on the radio, they get over worked, but should still last a good long while.. the body wont last long either. it come with all the tools to take the rig apart but you might want to upgrade them to better tools to make it easer.. the servos are water proof but thats about it. if the reciever gets wet, youll be hit.. they can get wet. i run mine in the water and snow and its been completly submerged after a runaway on the beach. everything still works fine. but you have to keep it clean. if you run in the water or rain, just spray the snot out of it with wd-40. its a water displacer, so it will help dry everything out and get it clean too. oh ya, hopefully your back yard is the size of a small football feild. if not, you wont get it out of first gear.. it completly SCREAMS!!!
