Does any one know the carburator specs for a 1992 honda Z50 dirt bike?


We bought this for my son and I would like to tune it up but having trouble with the carb. Also specs on the spark plug gap. Any tune up specs would be appreciated

the needle on the cable is to be in the middle grove. the float is not adjustable, if it leaks replace it. the mixture screw you will have to play with. remember this screw is only an idle mixture screw, anything past idle and the screw has no affect. the best i can give you on this is put it in first gear and go real fast then let all the way off the gas, if it backfires during deceleration you need to turn the screw out one half turn then repeat process. if you find the screw more than 4 turns out you may have to put one size bigger pilot jet in it. as for the spark plug just buy a new one for $2.50 they are preset from ngk. i believe it is a CR7HS-A.

The cold air intake and fuel tank installed on a GM are two of the more critical parts of the vehicle's engine system. GM Cold Air Intake and fuel tank are tasked to supply the GM engine with up to specs burn materials, composed of high-boost cold air and optimized fuel for nifty engine performance. In order for the GM cold air intake and the GM fuel tank to continuously deliver only quality burn materials, both systems are streamlined along with the GM engine, enabling the vehicle to get prime raw materials and run the GM flat out.

Forcing the GM engine to ingest combustion air through a restrictive airbox and stock paper air filter is like wasting horsepower. The GM cold air intake, or otherwise known as cool air intake, restores that lost power. It is a quick and effective method for raising the performance level of the GM engine. The engine performs at its most efficient level with a well-balanced mixture of fuel and air for the combustion process, formulated with a precise amount of oxygen to burn the fuel more effectively, optimizing the performance and efficiency of the vehicle. The GM cold air intake adds oxygen to the combustion process, allowing the engine to produce more power.

The GM Fuel Tank, on the other hand, is made of a leak-free billet fitted with gauge and vapor vents to keep the fuel secured and optimized. GM fuel tanks are typically plastic or metal containers. Metal GM fuel tanks are assembled by welding stamped aluminum sheets together, creating a durable fuel storage system that allows for low fuel emissions, while plastic GM fuel tanks use high-density polyethylene materials and are usually constructed through blow molding. Depending on the fuel delivery system of the car, a GM fuel tank may be equipped with a built-in pump. On carburated GM models the pump is bolted on the engine block. Most fuel injected engines are equipped with two fuel pumps: one low pressure/high volume supply pump in the tank and one high pressure/low volume pump on or near the engine.

Aside from performance, both the GM fuel tank and cold air intake contribute to clean exhaust capability of a GM. The durable finish of the metal GM fuel tanks limits fuel emission, as established by the partial zero-emissions of GM marques, while the oxygen-filled air components that the GM cold air intake draws in provide an easy-to-burn fuel material and streamlines the combustion process.
