Steering Drag
How do dragsters steer with the front wheels off the ground?
At the beginning of the track, the front wheels come off the ground. The car is riding on the rear wheels and the wheelie bar. How does the car go straight if one of the tires inflates more than the other.
Another way to ask the question - why does the car go straight instead of veering off the drag strip?
They dont steer, they just line everything up and then hope the car goes straight. Thats why you see some veer to the right or left and hit the wall. The driver cant do much about it. but if you are riding a dirtbike you can shift your body wight thats why you can do circle wheelies and stuff but not in a car.
