Questions about the Traxxas Rustler RC?

I just had a birthday and I decided I want to spend my money on a remote control car. Today I went to a store to look at remote control cars. I am pretty sure I want the electric so I don't always have to fix it up and stuff. Is the Traxxas Rustler a good deal? I am only 14 so is it a good car to get at first? I don't want to spend too much so I am thinking around $180-$250 or something like that. If I decide to get electric I am planning on getting 2/3 of the best batteries I can. Also, the guy was saying something about "Unbrushed" and I did not know what that is. Sorry it's long, I am new to the whole RC thing.

the rusty vxl is the best deal for your price range. it is a little high so you need to save up like 50 more dollars.

Which traxxas rustler should i get?

I can't decide between the nitro and the electric and are the nitro ones hard to maintain

nitro is easy if you take care of it. the nitro ends up being very expensive if you take into account all the fuel you will use and that parts break more often on a nitro because they are heavier and sometimes faster. the fuel i use is around $30 a gallon and that is pretty expensive if you would use it alot. i have a 1/8 scale monster truck and it likes to drink lots of gas... glow plugs are expensive too. If you are a beginner which it sounds like you are, def get the electric rustler and some good batteries.
