Traxxas Nitro 4-tec Pro .15
can i convert my .15 nitro engine with this?

Will I be able to convert my .15 traxxas nitro sport engine to a 2.5 engine with this? Or will I need to purchase the actual 2.5 engine to do it?

With all conversions you will be required to buy the actual engine. The Traxxas 2.5 or 2.5r should seffice but there are other options you can consider for engines.
2.5 engines have a much larger displacement and provide a lot more torque using a larger clutch and higher air intake. The traxxas 3.3 is actually a bored out 2.5 with a slightly larger shaft and larger head.
As for the link you have provided that is simply a stock part for the 2.5 engine with all parts required to complete the process. A lot of new and used engines actually come with those parts already assembled.
