Truck Body Nitro My 2010 Dodge Nitro was parked and hit by a truck?
The truck was a 2002 Chevy extended cab. The guy clip the back passenger side while it was parked in my friends driveway, I am waiting on the insurance adjuster to call me, but I was just wanting to know what kind of problem he could have caused my vehicle? I mean besides the body damage. It feels like my car is pulling slow, like when I drive it seems like it won't wanna go??
Like others said, he could have damaged you brake assembly, bent the wheel. Let the adjuster know that it is acting strange. Often times, the physical damage is noted right away and end of story. You don't want to find out later on about more problems. Has the MPG changed at all since the accident?

Why do I have a small range with my RC truck?
I have a duratrax nitro truck from like 2002 and when It gets like 50 feet away from me I lose control so it's hard to go fast or anything. Im buying a set with a new transmitter, receiver, and crystals to hopefully get more control cuz in videos I see they can go crazy far but does anyone know why? I'm thinking it's the crystals or cuz it's old but if there's anything else I can do please let me know thanks! Also the antenna on the truck is not held up I just tied it to a body mount lol but I didn't think that mattered
If you want more range and you are already thinking about upgrading your transmitter and receiver, I strongly suggest you get the 2.4ghz system. Just about every manufacturer makes the 2.4's so there is a wide selection. This will eliminate the crystals, long antennas and give you a longer running range.
The antenna not being held up could be your problem but it could also be time to upgrade or replace older parts. RC cars are technology and technology advances every day these days. So you are probably just running some out-of-date electronics. Before I upgraded to the 2.4 system if my antenna would rub the motor cooling head my servos would glitch and I would lose control. If your antenna is scrapping any metal on your vehicle it could be the cause too. You could get a new antenna mast and see if that cures the problem, but I would go with the upgraded transmitter and receiver. Keep that beast alive! I'm sure it still has some great runs left in it!
