An advertisement claims that a certain truck has the most powerful engine in its class.?

If the engine has more power, which of the following can the truck's engine do, compared to every other engine in its class?

F. Produce fewer emissions
G. Operate more efficiently
H. Perform work faster
J. Accelerate longer

I would say, both operated more efficiently and perform work faster. The phrase you mention is so often used to describe a best in class full size pick up truck. In this context an engine that performs faster and operates more efficiently is a work truck based on carrying or pulling a load. What is quantifiable and measurable is tonnage. So often, we think of speed, the proverbial 0-60 in 7.8 seconds.
A work truck must have the whole package, like engine, suspension, stability control etc to manage under load city and highway speed. The overall efficiency and operation of a truck when working together is a sense of ease and normalcy in doing it's job, day in and day out. Therefore, I would lean towards H. Perform work faster.

How to wire a electronic distributor 72 350 truck engine to a 1964 belair Wiring?

Hi i put a 72 truck engine in my 1964 bel air and i need to know how to wire up the electronic distributor to the belair wiring so i have the PURPLE wire and the ORANGE-RED wire that is supposed to go to the coil and for ingintion please help I gotta fire this engine up

The HEI type distributor only needs power and ground. It grounds through the motor so that is looked after. What you need to do is supply battery voltage through an ignition switched source. The problem with using the old factory wiring is it has a voltage drop in it due to using the old points type distributor. It also requires a larger gauge wire as the new distributor uses more power. What I used to do is trace the old wire back to the ignition switch on the column or dash area and take it out completely. Then using new connectors, fab up a new thicker gauge wire and run it out to the new distributor. It should only have power on this wire when the key is turned on and to start so as to be able to kill the motor. Make sense?
