Truck Rims

Is it worth it to buy new rims for my truck?

Im a 16 year old and i got my truck a year ago. Its a dodge ram 1500 with 15000 mile on it. My freinds say dont waste the money but ive always wantes to upgrade my truck with a lift kit and everything. But ive thought anout it, is it really worth it?

Well, that depends on a lot of factors, mainly the kind of rim you gonna pick for it, and also if you actually like the new rims better than the one you got, so the answer to your question is complex due to the fact you need to give more info on the rims you wanna pick for it, but I will tell you this....

in my opinion, theres 2 things you can do with a truck (I own one too), theres always 2 way to go..

First you wanna go 4x4 with your truck, with that I mean upgrading it so it gets an agressive look and you can be more of an Offroad type driver.

Or you can always like a "show car" which is basically your car with big rims and wheels and lot of crome on it, with lights everywhere , but if you try going offroad with that thing you will damage all your "upgrades"

So thats it, in my opinion, you can go either way.. that depend on whether you like going offroad (my case) or if you like a cool looking truck.

I try keeping it balance, with a good looking but still with a bit of aggressive look.

What rims are interchangeable with GMC truck?

I have a 91 1/2 ton full size 4x4 what other 6 lug rims will work on my truck?

Toyota 6-lug truck rims will also fit. The lug sizing is the same, but the backspacing can be different.

Also, any rim from a fullsize half-ton rated truck/suv will fit as long as it is a 6-lug (duh).
