Wheel Tires Will More expensive tires last longer on a car with all wheel drive?
Will my tires last longer with ALL WHEEL DRIVE if I buy more expensive tires? I purchase tires in Jan 2006 and have traveled about 25,000 miles since then and now I need new tires. If it matters I have a BUick Rendezous 2003 tire size 215/70R16
Your tires will last longer if you buy good ones and then take care of them. There are just as many good tires for low prices as there are bad tires for high prices. Do your homework on the actual tire. I would look around for the best price but tirerack has lots of info.

This 1998 Grammy-winning release--Lucinda Williams's popular breakthrough--certainly merits the double-disc "deluxe edition" treatment. And it's hard to find significant fault with anything here: the remastered version of the original album, the second-disc live performance from that year featuring guitarists Kenny Vaughn and Bo Ramsey, and the smattering of outtakes (highlighted by a slower, sadder version of "Out of Touch" than the one Williams ended up releasing)...

Having used truck tires or used car tires is not an acceptable excuse for leaving them filthy. Neither is having cheap tires. Yes, even your used truck tires or used car tires in Tampa FL can look like new tires with proper cleaning. Of course, if you do have new tires, you should make doubly sure they keep looking their best. It does not matter whether you have expensive or cheap tires. All of them will look much better when clean.
Of course, cleaning your tires also means cleaning your wheels. Just like expensive and cheap tires, used tires and new tires, there are also showy and functional wheels. Custom chrome wheels are usually attached to expensive cars while trusty steel wheels are more likely found in family and service vehicles. You get all kinds in Tampa FL. Be sure you know the type of wheel finish you have so that you do not make the mistake of using the wrong products which can damage them.
Make sure the wheels of the vehicle are cool to the touch before you start cleaning. Let the vehicle stay in the shade for a while. In the meantime, prepare your materials.
Make sure you have the appropriate cleaning and finishing products for your wheel type and tires. These include liquid car wash soap, liquid wheel cleaners and, possibly, tire preservative. Your tools include a sponge, tire brush, wheel brush and maybe even an old discarded toothbrush for tiny crevices in intricately designed wheels. A strong water sprayer will come in handy for flushing out dirt especially from hard to reach places. Choose wheel brushes that fit the shapes of your wheel spokes. Tire brushes should have hardy stiff bristles. Even if your tires are often subjected to muddy driving avoid using metal bristle brushes as these can be too harsh.
If you have a high-powered water sprayer, give your wheels and tires a thorough once-over to remove the top layer of dirt. If your tires are muddy, this is the time to rinse away that mud.
After the first salvo, zero in on your wheels. Make sure your wheel cleaner is appropriate to your wheel finish. Chrome finish wheels, for example, need special products and cleaning methods. Even if you do not have chrome finish wheels, test your cleaning product first on a small area of your wheel the first time you use it. It is best to check with your wheel dealer or manufacturer for the right products to use. Spray on liquid wheel cleaners are easier to use. Keep the wheel wet with the cleaner as you brush away brake dust residue from the wheel spokes. Rinse with clean water. Check the wheel well for any embedded debris and remove these.
With the liquid car wash detergent, use the tire brush to scrub away dirt from your tires. Rinse with clean water and check for embedded gravel. Small pieces can be pried off but if you find larger chunks you should bring the tire to a service center later. Roll the car a bit to be able to reach the bottom of the tires.
Dry your wheels and tires before applying finishing products. Wheels are waxed, except for chrome finish wheels. Tires are usually wiped with tire preservative. Some tire products need to be left on for several hours before wiping away the excess with cloth. They may leave a glossy wet-look finish.
Whether you have new tires, used truck tires, used car tires, expensive tires or cheap tires, they will last longer and look better on your vehicle with proper cleaning done regularly. You can then drive proudly anywhere on Tampa FL.
